Build your confidence and develop the skills that matter to you in a friendly, supportive learning environment.
Our community classes are designed for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, maths, and digital skills for everyday life. Each learner works alongside their tutor to set personal goals and follow a learning programme that suits their strengths, interests, and learning style.
In this class, you can:

Build confidence with everyday maths and numeracy

Improve computer and digital skills

Create a CV and cover letter for employment

Prepare for a learner driver's licence test

Work towards selected NCEA Level 1 unit standards

Strengthen skills for work, study, and daily life
WHO?
For those with lower-level literacy, numeracy or with neurodiverse learning challenges.
What?
Set your goals with your tutor to improve skills that are needed in today's world.
When?
Classes are two mornings a week starting at 9.00am.
Monday & Wednesday or
Tuesday & Thursday.
Where?
Community classes are based in Rowley, Riccarton and St Albans locations.
